Special Board Meeting
Monday, August 10, 2015
The meeting was called to order by Board President Jacob Jensen. Those present were Board members Kurt Stonesifer, Jacob Jensen and LeRoy Buck. Also in attendance were High School Principal, Brad Werner and Superintendent, Chris Schultz.
A motion was made to approve agenda by LeRoy Buck and seconded by Kurt Stonesifer. All ayes. Motion carried.
Citizens Request to Address the Board – No requests
- Mr. Schultz mentioned that he was working on the Facility Use Policy and when done would have our Insurance vendor look at it. He also asked for Board volunteers for the School Open House being held on August 27, 2015. The recent Superintendent workshop was attended and well worth it. A recommendation for the Athletic Director will be part of the normal monthly meeting in August. Mr. Schultz also shared results of the Wallethub State Education Rankings. These Rankings places Luck at 28th in the State of Wisconsin. Mr. Schultz began looking at the revision of Job Descriptions.
- Selection of Vendor for Energy Savings/Performance Contracting Project. After discussion, Mr. Schultz thanked Mr. Stonesifer for the part he played in the selection process. Both Mr. Stonesifer and Mr. Schultz chose Schneider Electric as the top RFP and are recommending this company for the project. A motion was made by Kurt Stonesifer and seconded by LeRoy Buck to approve the recommendation and award the RFP for the Energy Performance Contract to Schneider Electric Company. All ayes. Motion carried.
