Luck parents and guardians:
With the new release from Governor Evers, the School District of Luck is mandated to close until further notice. This closure will remain in effect until federal, state or local officials indicate we can reopen.
With this new information, the staff will be working to create an education plan that meets the needs of all of our students. The teachers initially sent home enough work to cover up to the April 6 return date. With the new information, the teachers will be working with the administration to create a plan for the weeks beyond April 6. Please expect a school employee to reach out to you personally sometime next week. Communication amongst parents and guardians and school employees will be very important moving forward.
With this indefinite closure, the staff will be planning new material weekly in the hopes to provide a seamless as possible education. It is imperative that students take this coursework seriously and complete tasks to the best of their ability. The coursework will be graded and trimester grades will be issued.
All of our support staff have the opportunity to continue working even with the mandated shut down. With food delivery, homework delivery and deep cleaning the building, all important jobs that must be done. School may be closed in the traditional sense, but behind the scenes, work is continuing on as we continue to provide education and food to meet the needs of our families.
