Hall Walking/Fitness Center
Monday-Friday, January-May (when school is in session)
Stay active and improve your health this winter at the Luck School District! The fitness center, along with the upper hallways, will be open from 4:00-8:00pm on school days. A monthly membership for the fitness center is $15, hall walking is free. A $10 key card deposit will apply for both. Registration is required. Meet up with friends and practice your basketball skills at open gym night! Open gym will be held in the main gym from 6:00-8:30pm. Registration is not required, open to ages 18+.

Water Aerobics

Instructor: Self-Led Classes

Join experienced Water Aerobics participants as each class works together to run through a fun regiment of stretching, cardio, and core strengthening. Foam bar bells and noodles are available to help tone arms, legs, and abdominals. All skill levels are welcome; the buoyancy allows for low impact on your body. Intro to Beekeeping

Zumba

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting, and fun workout. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body for all ages and fitness levels. Keeping Track of Your Passwords

We all have so many different passwords to keep track of nowadays—rather than taking the dangerous shortcuts of either using the same password for everything, or else writing passwords down and keeping them near your computer, this course will teach you tips to make it easier to create unique, memorable passwords for every different application. You will learn how to create good passwords, and what tools can help you store your passwords safely.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR & AED Training

BREATHING or NOT BREATHING - this is all you need to know to determine how to care for your unconscious victim. This CPR class is very easy to learn and to remember! You will learn how to care for an unresponsive person and will be certified for 2 years in Basic Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED. You will have unlimited practice opportunities during your certification period and unlimited digital access to the workbook materials. You will be taught how to help a choking victim, how to recognize if there is a problem, and gain confidence in your skills. This class does NOT have a written test. Class size: 4 min. / 12 max.

Learn to Macramé
Monday, March 4

Macramé is a fancy word for tying knots and it's easy to learn! It is similar to braiding, but the "knots" create different patterns. In this class, you will learn at least three basic knots to create your own unique piece of macramé, such as a plant hanger, key chain, or wall hanging. You will get personal assistance, and a step by step guide to create something beautiful for yourself or someone else.

DNR: ATV Safety
March 4, 5, and 7
5:30-8:30 p.m.
Instructor: Deputy Ryan Jordan

Anyone who operates an ATV on public riding areas – e.g. trails, frozen waters, routes, permitted county and/or forest lands – who is at least 12 years of age and who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must have completed an ATV safety certification course. This is a DNR approved class presented by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Must attend all days of instruction and pass a final exam to be certified. Course fee $10 (cash only) due at the beginning of the first class. Visit the WI DNR Go Wild! website to enroll. Please note that a DNR Customer ID Number is required to register.

St. Patrick's Day Gnome Painting

Shutterfly for Beginners

Learn how to upload your own photos, choose layouts, place your photos, edit them, set backgrounds and embellishments, add your own descriptions, plus much more! After this in-person class, you will know how to create a photobook to treasure for years to come. Attendees will need to have the Shutterfly app and bring a laptop to class. Kari has 10 years of Shutterfly experience so she will also share tips and tricks for getting the best deals! Class size: 5 min.

Resume and Job Searching Online

While it’s important to know the best places for job seekers to find job listings online, it’s also critical for candidates to know where to post their resumes. Employers look for potential hires in various places on the internet, from their own corporate websites to niche job search sites. Learn where they’re looking, and you’ll know where to create your online profile for maximum exposure and opportunity.
