Dear Parents of Luck School District Students,
It is with great pleasure that I share the latest highlights from our school community. It has been a year filled with successes and accomplishments, and our students continue to shine in the classroom, in the community, in athletics, and in extracurricular activities.
First of all, our school and district report cards from the state of Wisconsin speak to the academic success of our students and all of their hard work in the classrooms. We have made great efforts to update our materials, programs, and practices, and it is directly translating to student success. We will continue to do everything we can to provide our students with the education that they, and this community, deserve.
Speaking of the community, it is great to see all of the community support at so many school events. Every time I am at a play, a concert, a game, or any after school activity, the showing from parents, families, and the community in general is nothing short of incredible. I regularly see family members of students who have graduated from our school, sometimes many years ago, continue to support our students in the stands and in other ways. I thank you on behalf of our students and staff.
At the time of this message showing up in mailboxes, there will no doubt be snow outside and temperatures at their lowest points of the year. If anyone needs assistance with making sure your children have the appropriate winter gear, please let us know. Also, please continue to monitor our website, Facebook, and our messaging systems to monitor any potential closures of school and/or activities.
As we look toward the end of another school year, please keep some important dates in mind:
- Spring Break: March 25-29
- Parent-teacher conferences: April 11th
- Graduation: May 17
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out so that we can continue to work together to do our very best for the children in the Luck community.
Mr. Jason Harelson
Principal
